What it is

What Ariessence PDGF Is, and Why It Is the Strongest Booster Here.

Ariessence is a topical booster containing PDGF, platelet derived growth factor, the protein your own platelets release to start wound healing and collagen production. It delivers a purified, standardized dose without a blood draw. Applied during microneedling, it is used for acne scarring, deep texture and early laxity. At Club 116 in Manhattan it costs from $1,100 and takes 60 minutes.

Fine needles create thousands of controlled micro channels, and the skin rebuilds its own collagen to close them. PRP and PRF supply growth factors from your own blood, at whatever concentration your blood happens to have that day. Ariessence supplies the single most important one at a clinical, measured dose, every time. That consistency is why it is the booster we move to when a course of PRF has plateaued. Sessions are typically spaced six weeks apart, because the response is stronger and the skin needs the time.

Who it is for

Acne scarring, deep or pitted texture, laxity that is not yet a thread or Morpheus8 case, and people who have plateaued on PRF. It suits every skin tone, because microneedling uses no heat or light.

Why do it here

A doctor signs off on anything applied to open channels, and a licensed clinician performs the treatment. The booster is chosen for your skin rather than from a package, so nobody starts on the most expensive option unless the cheaper ones have been ruled out. The course is photographed under the same light at each visit. Nobody works on commission.

What happens

Before, During and After.

Before
The consult

Your skin and scarring are assessed under proper light and photographed. We ask what you have already tried, because PDGF is usually a second step rather than a first. Numbing cream goes on for twenty to thirty minutes. No consultation fee, and the exact price is confirmed in writing before we start.

During · 60 min
In the room

Fine needles pass over the face at controlled depths, deeper over scarred areas. The Ariessence is applied to the skin during and immediately after the passes, when the channels are open and absorption is highest. It feels like fine sandpaper, warm and scratchy rather than painful.

After · 2 days
What to expect

Pink to red for a day or two, like a mild sunburn, then a few days of dryness. Deeper scar work can leave pinpoint marks for a day. Makeup after twenty four hours. Most people work the same afternoon.

Results · two to three
When you see it

Texture and scarring tend to move faster than with other boosters, often visible after the first session and building over three months. Two to three sessions, six weeks apart, is the usual course, and collagen keeps maturing afterwards.

Good to know

Read This Before You Book.

Downtime and aftercare

Two to three days of pinkness and a dry, tight feel. Leave the booster on for the first few hours and do not wash the face until the next morning. Then sunscreen, a bland moisturizer, and nothing active (no retinol, acids or vitamin C) for five days. No makeup for the first day. No sweat, sauna or swimming for two days.

Not for you if

You are pregnant, have active acne, eczema or a cold sore in the area, keloid scarring, a bleeding disorder, or take a blood thinner. Not if you have used isotretinoin in the last six months. Boosters applied to the skin are not used in pregnancy. Your history is checked before anything is booked.

Questions

Ariessence PDGF Microneedling in NYC: Questions People Ask First.

How much does Ariessence PDGF microneedling cost in NYC?

At Club 116 on Central Park South it is $1,100 a session, and $880 for members. It is the most expensive booster on our menu because of the product, and we only recommend it where the cheaper boosters have been tried or clearly will not be enough. The exact figure is in writing before anything starts.

How many Ariessence sessions do I need, and how long does it last?

Two to three sessions, six weeks apart, is the usual course. That is fewer sessions and a longer gap than PRF, because the response per session is stronger. The collagen you build is yours, and most people maintain with a session every six to twelve months.

What is the difference between Ariessence PDGF and PRF?

PRF is your own blood, spun to concentrate the platelets, which release a mix of growth factors at whatever level your blood has that day. Ariessence is a purified, standardized dose of one growth factor, PDGF, with no blood draw. PRF is the natural option and the one we suggest first. Ariessence is the step up when PRF has plateaued or the scarring is deep.

Which booster should I choose: PDGF, PRF, exosomes or Rejuran?

Start with PRF for texture, tone and most scarring; it is what we suggest for most people doing a course. Move to Ariessence PDGF if the scarring is deep or has not moved on PRF. Exosomes give the shortest recovery and suit sun damaged skin. Rejuran or PDRN suit thin, reactive or redness prone skin. The clinician recommends at the consult, and we would rather you spend $850 than $1,100 if it does the job.

Does PDGF microneedling hurt?

The needling is what you feel, not the booster. Numbing cream takes most of it. Scar work goes deeper, so cheeks with scarring feel more than the rest of the face. People describe a warm, scratchy feeling like fine sandpaper.

Is Ariessence injected?

No. It is applied to the skin during and after microneedling, and the needles carry it to where it works. Nothing on this page involves a syringe. If your case needs injected volume or lift, that is filler, Sculptra or threads, and we would tell you so.
